I can't say enough good things about Cabana Restaurant! As a returning customer, every visit is a treat. Delicious food and top-notch service with a comfy family vibe. A big shoutout to GiGi, our favorite waitress! We always make sure to wait for her section because she is simply the best. GiGi knows exactly what we want, often remembering our favorite dishes and drinks without us even having to ask. She's incredibly accommodating, fast, and efficient, making sure everything is perfect every time. Beyond her impeccable service, GiGi is a genuinely sweet and friendly person who makes each visit extra special. The rest of the staff is equally wonderful, always welcoming and attentive. This restaurant was great! Cozy, easy vibes. Our server GIGI was exceptional, attentive, pleasant and super helpful with the menu options. She helped us choose the best eats for my mother's 57th birthday. Pork chops, steak, rice and black beans, spicy mango mojito, and teas leches cake were top tier. Everything was delicious and piping hot! Sizzling! Go here for good food and excellent service.
The quality in food has not changed in over 13 years. And that is something wonderful. The service has always been a delight! Nancy was able to bless our visit with suggestions and a wonderful personality! And the atmosphere is wonderful (music never too loud and smiles on everyones faces). If you are looking for delicious Spanish food, you have to give this place a try. (Do not leave without trying the avocado salad)
The paella was prepared well and quite filling. Skirt steak was excellent and the fish was the daily special; a hearty treat.
I am actually mad at myself for not dining at Cabana sooner! The service, food and drinks are outstanding. There are many flavors to choose for a mojito, but I stuck with the original and it was perfect. For appetizers, my friend and I shared the Bacalaitos, which are fried salt cod cakes with a creamy guacamole sauce layered between the cakes. We were hoping they wouldn't be greasy or overly salty, but this amazing dish was neither. The ceviche mixto was literally the best I've had in a restaurant in the area, and I have even ordered on a delivery app once since because the octopus, shrimp, scallops, and calamari with red onions is sublime. The texture of the seafood is exactly what one would want and is excellent quality. For dinner, although we were actually full already, we shared a special of the evening which was steak with shrimp, plantains and rice and beans. The steak was so tender and perfectly cooked. The shrimp had the perfect bite and the seasoning perfect. My friend always likes to have a vegetable on the side, so we opted for the Cabana salad which was unique with mixed greens, tomatoes, heart of palms, queso blanco, onions, and a black bean vinaigrette. We left extremely happy and will be back soon.
